Wild turkeys might seem innocent, but they can actually have a pretty big attitude. As the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs states: “Wild turkeys which become conditioned to human foods, and habituated to people, are likely to cause damage or to attempt to dominate people.” Yes, you read that right: dominate people.
Case in point: Watch as this mailman fends off turkeys while simply trying to to his job. But he comes prepared! He uses a pole to gently steer the turkeys away from him as he fast-walks to and from his mail truck. All in a day’s work.
